The 2021 Advocacy Short Course is designed for practitioners, researchers and policy actors who do not have an existing specialism in the advocacy field but may have a responsibility or interest in the integration of advocacy into planning, projects and policy.

This skills based and interactive course will enable participants to gain a comprehensive understanding of advocacy concepts, frameworks and core skills, how advocacy can value add and a systematic process of planning advocacy.

All participants will walk away from the short course with a completed advocacy framework, together with the knowledge, skills and connections on how to make it a reality. Participants will have access to highly experienced keynote presenters and hear a range of advocacy case studies to enhance their learning through the week.
