Christina and Mel ran a two-day Advocacy in Action workshop in Broome in late March 2025. The course provided local public health practitioners with an increased understanding of what advocacy is, how it can add value to their current work and gave them skills to design advocacy programs to address local needs. Thanks to the Nulungu Research Institute, a Kimberley-based organisation of collaborating Aboriginal and non-Indigenous researchers, and Notre Dame University for their support.
