‘I’m scared we won’t have money for food’: how children cope with food insecurity in Australia

PHAI article on The Conversation Using the Australian government’s own data, our research found that food insecurity is higher among single parent families and those receiving government financial assistance. Advocacy in Action Short Courses

Public health advocacy is not well understood yet it is a critical component of modern public health and health promotion.
August 2024: Young People’s Advocacy Course is piloted in Albury, Victoria

An energetic group of 16 young people gathered to undertake a one-day advocacy planning workshop in Wodonga, Victoria. Two local projects were conceived around local transport options and connections and also extending the existing Alphabet Crew support program to more regional areas.
