Plain packaging of cigarettes: Who is really behind the campaign

You may have noticed a series of TV, print and radio advertisements spring up before the election opposing the government’s plan to introduce plain packaging of cigarettes.

A number of health groups have formed an alliance to reveal the truth about these campaigns. See the attachment below of an advertisement by the Public Health Association of Australia, VicHealth, the Heart Foundation, the Cancer Council, the Australian Council on Smoking and Health and Action on Smoking and Health (ASH).
