Professor Mike Daube, Director
Mike Daube is Professor of Health Policy at Curtin University and Director of the Public Health Advocacy Institute and the McCusker Centre for Action on Alcohol and Youth. Before moving to Curtin in 2005 he was Director General of Health for WA and Chair of the National Public Health Partnership. He is President of the Australian Council on Smoking and Health (ACOSH) and Co-Chair of the National Alliance for Action on Alcohol.

Dr Melissa Stoneham, Deputy Director
Melissa has over 20 years experience in public health. Melissa oversees all of PHAIWA's key projects but has a special interest in environment and health and the local government sector.

Nikki George; PA/Administrator
Nikki is PA to the Director and Administrator to the whole of PHAIWA. Having joined PHAIWA in September 2011, Nikki previously worked on combined projects with Curtin University and the Telethon Institute for Child Health Research.

Sunni Wilson, Project Officer
Sunni is the Project Co-ordinator for The Western Australian Indigenous Storybook, publishes the PHAIWA newsletter and assists with the MediaWatch and JournalWatch services.

Andrea works on the Local Government Injury Prevention Project funded by the Department of Health.

James Stevens-Cutler, Project Officer
James manages the Children's Environment & Health Local Government Report Card Project and is coordinating the Local Government Tobacco Grants Scheme. He also adminsiters PHAIWA's weekly E-news bulletin as well as assisting with the MediaWatch and JournalWatch services.

Jacinta Freeman, Project Officer
Jacinta works on the Local Action on Tobacco Control project funded by the Department of Health and Ageing and co-ordinates the Soft Drink Consumption project.

Rochelle Tobin, Project Officer
Rochelle Tobin was awarded the Australian Health Promotion Association scholarship to work with PHAIWA and Diabetes WA to reduce soft drink consumption in remote Aboriginal communities. Rochelle also assists with the MediaWatch and JournalWatch services.

Emily O'Connell, Project Officer
Emily coordinates the Capacity Building & Professional Development Program which includes the advocacy mentoring program and opportunities for metropolitan and regional professionals to improve their skills, knowledge and ability to achieve effective advocacy. She also assists with the MediaWatch and JournalWatch services.

Liz Bakowski
Liz is currently studying 'Preventive Health' at the University of Notre Dame. She is assisting with the Children's Environment & Health Local Government Report Card Project and the MediaWatch service.

Jodie Goodman, Project Officer
Jodie has been working with PHAIWA intermittently for the past 3 years. Currently Jodie’s role is to develop some of PHAIWA’s resources and assist with generating peer reviewed journal articles. In the past, Jodie has been involved in the Aboriginal Smoking Project and the trachoma project.
